Temporary nerf to UW/FoW
I think it would be really funny (and also helpful to the economy) if Arena Net chose to either temporarily shut down UW and FoW, or make the drops absolutely horrible for a few days.
Any comments on this?

or completely nerf SF..
the only problems are coming from these damn UW speedclears and 2 man FOW runs...and UW is A LOT worst that FOW, since the end-chest can be farmed.

My last speed clear was...
Summer.
June 7th.
And it was HM Physical Team DoA clear, 2:31 without Mallyx.

In my opinion, a complete Shadow Form revert would help more than anything...
21 Seconds at 16 Shadow, 60 Seconds recharge & no damage reduction.

Agreed, but only because the initial buff was unnecessary.
I'm really tired of these economy rambling. I'm not suffering because of any of the new things going on. The only people taking a hit are the people doing these runs because there's a slightly higher availability and slightly lower demand for ultra-rare weapons and items.
So... who cares? Nobody in the game would say "meh" if an Eternal Blade dropped out of the UW chest, even with all the farming of the chest going on. ANet thought the VS farm got out of hand and nerfed it. VS are still work quite a bit. Sure, not as much, but that's the tendency of any item when the game no longer introduces new content.

add a few signets of disenchantments in there or other methods that can take off SF.
UW should not be completed in 15min.
Make it at least 1 hour to clear.

Explain how a temporary disruption of the system does anything constructive.
The most it could possibly do would be to lead to a short-term spike in prices that advantages the already wealthy. If people were rational, even that wouldn't happen and there would be no effect beyond annoying speed clearers.
If the problem is that UW/FoW are too easily cleared, the solution is not to put a Band-Aid on the problem. The solution is to make UW and FoW harder to clear. There are two ways to do that: make the areas harder or nerf skills.
Implication: what you really want is for the devs to finally kill perma-SF, but you either know that opinion won't go over well with this audience, or you don't realize that's what you really want.

how about just make a new dungeon / elite area / place like uw/fow
place where u get to from toa etc
but unable to solo
but this place has awsome drops and amazing chests and amazing rewards and amazing new gear...
now that will change the market
(cos u need a team)
and u should make it that u need like 8 diffeent classes to do it
eg it will be different than other places =)
